Teen Therapy
A safe space for identity exploration and growth while navigating the ups and downs of growing up
Who this is for
- Ages 13-18
- Looking for either single-session or ongoing therapy support
How therapy can help
- Therapy gives teens an opportunity to explore the ups and downs of adolescence
- Therapy creates a non-judgmental space where they can feel heard and understood.
- Therapy isn't about telling teens what to do—it can help them understand what's happening, develop practical skills, and make changes that fit their goals.
- Often there are challenges with developing their independence while maintaining connection to family and their values
Our approach
- At the first session, the therapist will work with the teen to understand their current concerns, areas of strength, and develop a comprehensive plan forward
- Parent involvement in teen therapy varies between attending sessions with the youth, attending part of the sessions with the youth, or youth participating individually. This can be discussed with the therapist at the consult call or first session.
- Virtual availability across Ontario and in-person sessions in Scarborough, ON
