Getting started and booking your first therapy session can feel sometimes uncomfortable or awkward. For some people it may bring up feelings of anxiety, shame, or guilt. Booking a free 15-minute consultation call is the first step to standing up to those feelings and normalizing therapy for yourself or a loved-one. If you feel overwhelmed at the thought of making the call or sending the email, enlist a friend, parent, or support person to be by your side. They can sit with you while you make the call, or help draft the contact form with you. Scarborough Psychotherapy Services is a space of non-judgement and your information is considered personal-health information to which we abide by the confidentiality policy.
