Her work is grounded in the belief that healing can take many forms, and that creativity can be a powerful tool for insight, empowerment, and change.
What can she help with?
As an Art Therapist, Raquel works with clients ages 12 and up, specializing in support for people navigating neurodivergent experiences, including ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities, as well as perinatal mental health.
If you're navigating fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or the transition to parenthood, Raquel offers compassionate, specialized support for the emotional changes that can come with this season of life. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, changes in identity, or simply don't feel like yourself, you don't have to navigate it alone. Raquel supports individuals through pregnancy, new parenthood, and postpartum, including those experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety challenges.
Through creative expression and an art therapy approach, Raquel helps clients build self-understanding, resilience, and healthier connections while creating space to explore their experiences in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
What is Art Therapy?
Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art-making and creative expression to help individuals explore their experiences, process emotions, and share their stories—especially when words feel difficult to find. Through a combination of creative exploration and conversation, the art-making process becomes a meaningful way to gain insight, deepen self-understanding, and explore one's inner world.
Rather than relying solely on direct questions, an Art Therapist may draw attention to themes, symbolism, colours, patterns, and the energy within the artwork to spark reflection and discussion. No artistic skill, training, or experience is required—just a willingness to show up and engage in the process.
